SKI CLUBS 24-25
TENTATIVE TRIP DATES
All trip dates are tentative and subject to change. Only due paying club members may attend trips (Membership for the 24-25 school year has closed). In order to attend any trip, the Carpool form must be filled out on time. The Carpool Meeting is mandatory for each trip. For updates, carpool forms, and trip group chats, make sure to check the Slack.
Fall Trip
OCT 18-20
Fall Trip is a great way to get to know the club, where we hike instead of skiing, typically we go up to Boone for this trip, but due to hurricane Helene this year Sklub took on the beach, traveling up to Heathsville, Virginia.
Vermont
DEC 30 - JAN 5
The Vermont trip is always the last week of winter break with drive up on Dec 30th, ski 5 days, and drive back Jan 5th. The carpool form is dropped on Wednesday Nov 13th, due Sunday Nov 17th, and the carpool meeting is Wednesday Nov 20th. This Vermont we will be skiing one day at Magic Mountain (group ticket rates), one day at Sugar Bush (Ikon), and three days at Killington (Ikon) aka the Beast.
SNOWSHOE 1
JAN 17-20 (MLK WEEKEND)
Snowshoe 1 (Ikon) takes place over MLK weekend, with drive up (and ski?) Friday the 17th, two days of skiing, and drive back (and ski?) on Monday the 20th (no class). Carpool Form drops Wednesday Jan 8th, Due Sunday Jan 12th, and Carpool Meeting is Wednesday Jan 15th
BOONE
JAN 24-26
Boone is a normal weekend trip, with drive up Friday the 24th, ski Saturday at Beech (group ticket rates), and drive back on Sunday the 26th. Carpool Form drops Wednesday Jan 15th, Due Sunday Jan 20th, and Carpool Meeting is Wednesday Jan 22nd
SNOWSHOE 2
FEB 7-11 (WELLNESS DAY)
Snowshoe 2 (Ikon) takes place over Superbowl weekend and goes over a Tuesday Wellness Day. Drive up (and ski?) Friday Feb 7th, skiing, and most people drive back (and ski?) on Tuesday the 11th (no class), skipping Monday classes (excused absence), driving back on Sunday the 9th is also an option for those who cannot miss class Monday. Carpool Form drops Wednesday Jan 29th, Due Sunday Feb 2nd, and Carpool Meeting is Wednesday Feb 5th
WINTERGREEN
FEB 21-23
Wintergreen (group ticket rates) is a normal weekend trip with drive up Friday Feb 21st, ski Saturday, and drive back Sunday the 23rd. Carpool Form drops Wednesday Feb 12th, Due Sunday Jan 16th, and Carpool Meeting is Wednesday Jan 19th
